Friday in The Cafe

Friday, August 30, 7:00pm

In August we will host another evening Fifth Friday in the Cafe event. Unwind and start your weekend in the company of friends as you enjoy mellow music in a relaxed atmosphere.

The doors open at 6:30pm on Friday, August 30 for an evening of acoustic guitar and vocals with Bruce Copp. Bruce began his solo career in New York City in night clubs, restaurants, country clubs, and private parties. In the 1990s he moved to King of Prussia, PA and has successfully continued his career performing in the Philadelphia area.

When Bruce is not performing as a solo artist, he is a member (and musical director) of the nationally acclaimed Doo-Wop vocal group - Vito Picone and the Elegants - whose recording of "(Where are You) Little Star" reached #1 on the Billboard Top 40 in August of 1958.

Enjoy a journey spanning the classic songs of the 1950s and 1960s from musical greats such as Dean Martin, Perry Como, Bobby Darin, Johnny Cash, and Neil Diamond.

Your $10 donation for our Fifth Friday event includes light refreshments, coffee, wine or beer, and helps us to bring talented local musicians to Generations. Seating is limited. To register, stop by our front desk or call 215-723-5841.
