Matters of our Bladders

For both men and women alike, dealing with pelvic floor concerns can be challenging.  Because information may be hard to find and concerns may be difficult to openly discuss, those struggling with pelvic floor issues often feel anxious, alone or helpless.

The good news is that awareness and understanding of pelvic floor pain — as well as research on treating pain — have continued to grow.  In the last several years, the number of men seeing a physical therapist for pelvic floor work has increased dramatically.

Come to a judgement-free presentation with a physical therapist and pelvic floor specialist.  Danielle Knippenberg, Masters in Physical Therapy, from Core 3 Physical Therapy, will share information about pelvic floor health specifically geared for men.  Danielle will discuss how to perform a correct kegel, managing post prostate surgery symptoms, and reducing urinary frequency/night voids.  Valuable information will be provided to improve a variety of urinary symptoms.
