Oktoberfest is multi-day annual folk festival held in Munich, Germany from mid or late September to early October. Held since the year 1810, more than six million people from around the world attend the event every year.
The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture. Visitors enjoy numerous attractions, such as amusement rides and games. There is also a wide variety of traditional foods and beer.
Join us at Generations for an Oktoberfest celebration! We had so much fun last year, we decided that a repeat event was in order! We’ll have bratwurst, knockwurst, sauerkraut, German potato salad, pretzels, beer, and apple strudel for dessert. We'll have traditional German music with accordion player Willie Aust und viel Spass (and plenty of fun)!
Tickets are $12. All proceeds benefit our Center and Meals on Wheels programming. Seating is limited. Please register if you plan to attend. Call 215-723-5841 or stop by the Generations front desk. Prost
