Tunes at Noon: Remembering Doo Wop

From Morse Code of Love to Earth Angel to The Great Pretender, you can’t help but sing along to the sounds of Doo Wop.  The dictionary describes Doo Wop as “a style of pop music marked by the use of close harmony vocals using nonsense phrases, originating in the US in the 1950s.”

If, like me, you find yourself feeling pleasantly haunted by the sounds of Doo Wop, you will love hearing from DJ/Entertainers “Ice Productions” for Tunes at Noon.  These talented entertainers will share some trivia, stories and history and then play and even sing some favorites from the Doo Wop era.  If the music moves you, feel free to sing along or get up and dance.

Cost:  $6 includes Tunes at Noon entertainment and lunch (a juicy deluxe cheeseburger, french fries and ice cream sodas). Please stop by our front desk or call 215-723-5841 to register.
