History

Spring Gala

Generations of Indian Valley was founded in 1967 as The Senior Adult Activity Center of Indian Valley by 50 charter members. We moved to our current location on 2nd Street in Souderton, PA in 1989. In 2008, we changed our name to Generations of Indian Valley, more accurately to represent the community members we serve.

Today, Generations has become known throughout the Indian Valley and beyond as a place of welcome and friendship for more than 4,000 active adults.

Through our programs in health, wellness, social services, recreation, education, travel, nutrition and more, we have earned a reputation as a true community of people committed to learning, growth and mutual support.

Generations is a gathering, where the needs and the joys of the community can be shared. Since its inception, our nutrition program (encompassing our Noon Meal and Meals on Wheels offerings) has grown to produce 8,000 nutritious meals per month for seniors in the North Penn and Indian Valley areas.  Each year, an average of 21,000 volunteer hours are registered to support our overall Center and Meals on Wheels programming.

Generations of Indian Valley has a rich history of gatherings, support, and friendship in our community. We continue to foster a spirit of partnership that lasts. . . from generation to generation.
