Given the continuing rise of Covid cases, effective 1/11/22, Generations will be closed to the public for the remainder of January.  Our intention is to re-open to the public on February 1.

During this closure, the Center will continue its commitment to our meal programs.  We will continue to provide M-F deliveries to our homebound Meals on Wheels clients, and we will continue to provide M-F take-out meals to our Center Participants.  Masks are required in our building at all times.  Registration is still required for take-out meals.  See below. 

All in-person activities and day trips for the remainder of January will be cancelled.

The staff will remain divided on teams to ensure that if there is a staff exposure we have the ability to continue meal service using the non-exposed staff team.

There will be no Meals on Wheels delivery on Monday, January 17.

COVID-19 Updates


Generations offers a variety of engaging day trips to theaters, entertainment venues, museums, gardens and other local points of interest of each month. Most trips are hosted by volunteer drivers and escorts and take place on our own 24 passenger mini-coach. Please note:  all day trips are temporarily suspended through 1/31/22 due to the Covid surge.

Overnight Trips

Generations offers several overnight trips per year. We work with local travel agents and tour companies to provide a variety of overnight excursions at competitive prices. You can feel good traveling with Generations since we provide friendly volunteer escorts to assist you on your trip. Each trip fee includes a donation to our 501(c)3 non-profit community center. Idaho Adventure: 
A Lewis & Clark Discovery June 15 – 21, 2022

Idaho has more kilometers of designated wilderness than anywhere else in the continental USA. These wilderness areas, national forests, and state and local parks offer easy access to spectacular waterfalls, blue ribbon trout streams, ancient lava flows, surprising sand dunes, free-flowing rivers, sparkling lakes and towering mountains. Cities and towns provide the comforts of home with lodging, dining, food stores and fuel stations, and serve a natural base camp for outdoor recreation.

Mountain Music & Rails of West Virginia July 11-14, 2022

On this tour you will experience various musical performances.  The Appalachian style entertainment will allow you to learn more about the people and history of the area.  We will tour historic sights and ride the mountain locomotive along the cascading Shavers Fork of the Cheat River to High Falls of Cheat and views of the magnificent Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia.  The music and rails tour is packed with entertainment.  To end our trip we will spend a night in Baltimore and visit the aquarium before heading home.
