Given the continuing rise of Covid cases, effective 1/11/22, Generations will be closed to the public for the remainder of January.  Our intention is to re-open to the public on February 1.

During this closure, the Center will continue its commitment to our meal programs.  We will continue to provide M-F deliveries to our homebound Meals on Wheels clients, and we will continue to provide M-F take-out meals to our Center Participants.  Masks are required in our building at all times.  Registration is still required for take-out meals.  See below. 

All in-person activities and day trips for the remainder of January will be cancelled.

The staff will remain divided on teams to ensure that if there is a staff exposure we have the ability to continue meal service using the non-exposed staff team.

There will be no Meals on Wheels delivery on Monday, January 17.

Fitness Videos

As we move back toward in-person fitness classes, we want to offer these recorded videos of our fitness classes for those participants who might still prefer an at-home option.  We are including several options for the same class so you don't get too bored!

Feel free to use these videos at your convenience.  If you do decide to use them, please take a moment to drop an email to Amy: and say something like "I did the Dancefit Video today" so we can include your participation in our monthly attendance statistics. 

You should always check with your healthcare provider before starting a new exercise routine.  The attached exercise videos are intended to increase strength, flexibility, endurance and to decrease the risk of falls in those who participate. We recommend the exercises be performed every other day.  If any untoward events occur- while performing this or any exercise- such as dizziness, shortness of breath, extremity pain or chest pain, the exercises should be immediately stopped and a health care practitioner contacted.
Though exercise should be an important ingredient in everyone's health and wellness activities, it can, on rare occasions be dangerous.  Falls or illnesses  can occur directly as a result of exercising. If you have any doubt if you should exercise, please consult your health care practitioner.
